Urban Design Planner

The Urban Design Planner conducts design analysis for urban development. The Urban Design Planner studies areas of the city identified for urban development, prepares conceptual urban designs, administers or oversees the implementation of urban design projects, interacts with internal and external stakeholders and the public, and performs a variety of related administrative duties. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, planning or a closely related field and two years professional experience in urban design including the creation and rendering of urban design plans and concepts; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Employees are offered a competitive benefits package which includes health, dental, and life insurance, paid annual and sick leave, paid holidays, and a retirement program.
